Laars FTCF Floor Boiler Holiday Mode (Yom Tov)

Laars FTCF Floor Boiler Holiday Mode (Yom Tov)

All our LFTCF199NA1XN units PRESENTLY in OUR stock are set up with the new printed circuit boards that include the “Holiday Mode” AND Standard Mode on one circuit board.

The unit can be used in Standard or Holiday mode. We have discontinued the LFTCF199NA1HN model number.

Any FTCF 199 unit after SN F22000001K2 has the updated firmware.

For Standard Mode:
Dip switches 1, 2, 3 are to be to the ON position (down) as viewed from inside of the boiler. This is the DEFAULT and how the unit is shipped.

For Holiday (Yom Tov) Mode:
Dip switches 1, 2, 3 are to be in the OFF position (up) as viewed from inside the boiler.

A switch must be field provided and wired between the H(TT) terminals on ANY FTCF model and revision of firmware to activate Holiday (Yom Tov) mode operation.  With the field provided switch H(TT) in the closed position the boiler will operate in the Holiday (Yom Tov) mode for ONE HUNDRED (100 hours) and then return automatically to Standard operation. SO after 100 hours of elapsed time the H(TT) Holiday field provided switch MUST be manually opened and then closed again to return to Holiday ( Yom Tov) mode of operation for the next Holiday period.

The actual reason for the new "combination" firmware is to cut down on SKU #'s and inventory demands on having a Holiday mode capable boiler and a Standard Boiler.
